Does not shut down the system when a temperature warning event occurs.</td> </tr> </table> <p>[<a href="#top">Back to Top</a>]</p> <h4>Severity Definitions</h4> <p>The severities relevant to thermal shutdown are <em>Warning</em> and <em>Failure</em>. </p> <h5><b>Warning</b></h5> <p>A warning event occurs when any temperature probe inside a chassis reads a temperature (in degrees Celsius) that exceeds the maximum temperature warning threshold. Users can either accept default warning threshold definitions or specify the maximum and minimum temperature warning thresholds.</p> <h5><b>Failure</b></h5> <p>A failure event occurs when any temperature probe inside a chassis reads a temperature (in degrees Celsius) that exceeds the maximum temperature failure threshold. Users cannot set failure thresholds.
