You can select those events for which you want to take shutdown actions. You can select certain actions and ensure that an alert is sent for these actions. Platform Events</h4> <p>You can click each platform event to configure the following types of responses to the platform event: <ul> <li>Action</li> <li>Generate Alert</li> </ul> <p>You can configure the shutdown action and the alert generation on the <a href="SetPEF.html">Set Platform Events</a> page.</p> <h5>Action</h5> <p>All platform events with the exception of <b>Automatic System Recovery</b> and <b>Hardware log is full or emptied</b> allow you to select an Action. Automatic System Recovery (ASR), for example, does not permit an action because actions are already part of the event definition for ASR. The actions that are enabled for each platform event appear as checkmarks on the <b>Platform Events</b> page.</p> <h5>Generate Alert</h5> <p>When you enable Generate Alert, the <b>Generate Alert</b> column is checked.</p> <p> [<a href="#top">Back to Top</a>] </p> <h4>Platform Event Filters Configuration</h4> <p>The controls below allow you to enable and disable sending platform alerts as a group -- all at once.
