External Chassis Properties

Use the external chassis Properties tab to review health status information for
one or more fans, power supplies, and temperature probes that may be present in your
network-attached storage external chassis.

For more information on health status for fans, power supplies, and temperature probes
in external chassis, see the following:

When you select Fan, Power Supply, or Temperature from the
external chassis, both the Properties tab and the Alert Management tab
become visible. To manage the alert actions or to configure SNMP properties for a specific
external chassis component, select that component from the external chassis named in the
system tree, and then select the Alert Management tab.
